Best New One Page Responsive WordPress Themes

One page websites are growing in popularity and WordPress developers are paying attention. We really like parallax design, anything flat, and one pagers. You’d be crazy to design a new site that’s not responsive, so everything here is of course. We did a post in January on the top free responsive WordPress themes, but all the themes in this new list are much more robust, much more feature rich, and can be had for about $45 when purchased through Themeforest.

bravo-wordpress-theme

Bravo: This is a parallax, one-page wordpress theme fully loaded with a ton of short codes and a number of customizable background image options. Just for a refresher “parallax” means having multiple images that scroll at different speeds. Care to venture to Wikipedia and learn more about parallax. Be our guest.

webpaint-wordpress-theme

Webpaint: This theme comes as both a one page theme or in standard paged version. It features a speedy slider, multiple portfolio options, nice-looking short codes, and some other features expected of such themes, such as social integration, a styled contact page, icons, etc.

scroller-wp-theme

Scroller: This responsive one-page wordpress theme scrolls smoothly, has lots and lots of short codes for different text boxes and other ways of adding text areas, which is something we love, as it offers a bit of middle ground for a client that really doesn’t want a “ton of text” but allows us to work in the content we need to make sure a site places well in search results. The colors are customizable of course, and though the homepage image is a little large in their mock up template, it’s something that can be changed, or if not, gives the site a striking introduction.

elvetis-wp-template

Elvetis: This responsive WordPress template is actually quite similar to Scroller, It carries a lot of the same functionality, and has a bit more of a clean look and feel, with a different header menu and somewhat dated short code text box styles.

orionwp-wordpress-theme

Orion WP: This is by far our favorite theme of the bunch. The style of it is fresh, very clean and it comes with excellent typography. It scrolls smoothly, has really well-styled short code elements. To their credit, the Orion WP designers over at JellyThemes have done a very good job setting up the theme with some excellent mock up imagery. I’d be surprised if we don’t find a use for this gem sometime soon.

CandyTheme-WordPress-Theme

Candy Theme: Here’s another smart, fun one page wordpress theme from JellyThemes. The flat look and the color palate make this a good theme for a design agency or for someone in a creative space. It might not work for every purpose, but will be an excellent fit for the right niche or marketing approach.

fragment-wordpress-theme

Fragment: This theme has a ton of options, is retina ready, and has loads of available animations. It’s complicated enough that learning how to fully take advantage of all the options will require a bit of a learning curve, but it comes with set up documentation as well as theme support. One wouldn’t have to use all of the available features to make this a good choice of themes, and following their example site will make setup run more smoothly.

WordPress Theme Roundup
